The grand opening of Pushkin Days took place in Kyrgyzstan
Today the world celebrates the 225th anniversary of the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin and International Russian Language Day. In honor of this, dozens of events are held throughout the republic.
To the opening ceremony Pushkin days all members of the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan, that is, representatives of all peoples living in the country, came to the monument to the great poet near the main building of the KRSU.
The event was attended by the Russian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Nikolai Udovichenko. He expressed confidence that the Russian language will retain its importance in Kyrgyzstan and, within the framework of bilingualism, will contribute to the implementation of all plans. More details
