Employees of the Faculty of Economics of KRSU are developing a discipline «Green Economics» for schools. This was announced at a round table meeting in the conference hall of the KRSU, which took place at the initiative of the Russian International Affairs Council. Topic of the dialogue «Green Economy of the EAEU: challenges and prospects». The conversation on a very relevant topic was started by the acting Rector of KRSU Denis Fomin-Nilov.
He noted that the problems of the green economy in modern society require an integrated approach and solutions to the risks associated with the negative impact of resources used on the human environment. «The topic of our round table is extremely important. Today, our task as a scientific community is to comprehensively analyze current issues of the green economy. We need to compare the experience of advanced countries and make the right inputs» – he said.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics of KRSU Natalya Brovko spoke about the activities of the international scientific and pedagogical school «Green Economy and Sustainable Development», operating on the basis of KRSU. «The economic problems of modern resource use give impetus to the development of a «green» worldview at all levels of education. That is why the discipline «Green Economy» has been introduced at our Faculty of Economics. There are plans to introduce this subject in all faculties of KRSU and for all areas of study taught at the university, as well as for schools» – she emphasized, adding that specialists from their faculty have developed a textbook «Green Economy and Sustainable Development of the EAEU Countries».
