Foreign Languages Conversation Club

OpenTalk <TAG1> a conversation club created for students who want to develop spoken word skills in a lively and secure communication space. The club is focused on building confidence in speaking, expanding vocabulary and overcoming the language barrier. Meetings are held in an interactive format and include: discussion of current and socially significant topics; debates and mini-discussions; role-playing games and situational tasks; analysis of speech strategies and communication models. The main goal of OpenTalk — is to create an environment in which students can freely express themselves in English, develop critical thinking and academic and everyday communication skills. The club is open to students with different levels of language proficiency. The format of the meetings involves respectful interaction, support for participants and encouragement of speech activity. OpenTalk — is a space of dialogue, practice and growth.
