Student Affairs Department

The Department for Work with Students is a structural unit of the Department for Interaction with Students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin, created in order to ensure prompt, high-quality and comfortable interaction between students, applicants and other interested parties with the university.

The main goal of the Department's activities it is to ensure organized and normatively verified management of documented information about the student population of the University, as well as to create conditions for effective administrative support of the educational process.

The main functions are:

• preparation, registration and storage of orders for student and master's students' personnel on:
  • university enrollment;
  • transfer from another university;
  • intra-university transfer;
  • reinstatement from academic leave and after expulsion;
  • granting of academic leave;
  • secondment of students;
  • admission to exams;
  • expulsion from the university (in connection with graduation from a university, by transfer, at one’s own request, for academic debts, for loss of contact, etc.);
• preparation of established reports on the personnel of students and undergraduates;
• participation in the formation and maintenance of an electronic database of the student and master's student population;
• processing, registration and issuance of educational documents at the end of studies;
• organizing interaction with responsible departments of the university;
• participating in the implementation of the University Management Policy;
• participation in the development and implementation of QMS documentation in accordance with the competence of the unit and according to the rules for managing documented information.
