Specifics of admission to undergraduate/specialty studies
1. Admission to a budget place within the framework of admission figures (AER) of the Russian Federation
Register on the portal STUDY.KRSU.KG (for applicants on the basis of secondary general or secondary vocational education (11th grade or college), submit documents for admission to budget places in the Russian Federation.
1.1. Who and how can enroll in KRSU for budget places in the Russian Federation
Enrollment in budget places financed from the federal budget of the Russian Federation is carried out based on the results of a competitive selection conducted by the KRSU for applicants of citizens of Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Belarus receiving higher education for the first time.
Admission to study in bachelor's and specialty programs is carried out on the basis of secondary general education (11th grade, secondary school) or secondary vocational education (college, secondary vocational education).
What results are taken into account when applying for training?
Based on secondary general (11 classes, secondary school)
For citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic – ORT (not lower than the threshold score), certificate, entrance tests in areas of study, individual achievements (if available).
For citizens of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus – Unified State Examination results, CT, certificate, entrance tests in areas of study, individual achievements (if available).
Admission to study in bachelor's and specialty programs is carried out based on the results of the unified state exam of the Russian Federation (hereinafter – Unified State Exam), or based on the results of the Centralized Test of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter – CT), which are recalculated according to a 100-point system and recognized as entrance tests.
Based on secondary vocational education (college, secondary vocational education)
For applicants who have completed secondary vocational education – college diploma, Unified State Exam (for medical specialties), CT (for medical specialties), entrance tests*.
*College graduates may only enter through internal entrance tests in streams that correspond to the profile of the education received. If they enter a field that does not correspond to their profile, they are admitted under the same conditions as school graduates.
For the directions «Architecture», «Architectural environment design», «Costume and textile art»
Applicants who have successfully passed additional creative tests are allowed to competitively enroll in the areas of training «Architecture», «Design of the architectural environment», «Art of costume and textiles»:
- 03/07/01 RF, 750100-KR «Architecture» (drawing, drawing);
- 03/07/03 RF, 750200-KR «Architectural environment design» (drawing, drawing);
- 03/54/03 RF, 570700-KR «Art of costume and textiles» (drawing, composition).
Additional creative tests are carried out before the start of the 1st round of ORT.
1.2. When will documents be accepted for budget places in the Russian Federation
Documents will be accepted through the electronic registration system on the portal study.krsu.kg from 10:00 am on June 20 to 12:00 am on July 25, 2025 (GTM +6).
1.3. What documents are needed for electronic registration for admission
- a scanned copy of the passport;
- a scanned copy of a state-issued document on secondary general and vocational education;
- scan copy of the certificate of national testing or centralized exam (for citizens of the Russian Federation Unified State Exam, for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic ORT, for citizens of the Republic of Belarus CT);
- electronic version of the photo measuring 3*4 cm;
- Scan copy of the results obtained from the entrance creative test (in the areas of Architecture, Architectural Environment Design, Costume and Textile Art);
- scanned copies of documents giving the right to apply for special conditions of admission and benefits specified in the Admission Rules.
Documents for participation in the competition can only be submitted for one specialty or direction of KRSU.
1.4. Who can enter without entrance exams under a special quota or a separate quota.
For places within the framework of the KCP without entrance tests for places within the special quota
- Winners and prize-winners of the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren, members of national teams of the Russian Federation that participated in international Olympiads in general education subjects and formed in the manner established by the federal executive body exercising the functions of developing and implementing state policy and legal regulation in the field of general education, as well as members of national teams of a foreign state - winners and prize-winners of international Olympiads in general education subjects, the list of which is approved by the Government of the Russian Federation who are citizens of the Russian Federation or compatriots who are not citizens of the Russian Federation, in specialties and (or) areas of training corresponding to the profile of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren or the international Olympiad, for four years following the year of the relevant Olympiad. The compliance of the profile of these Olympiads with specialties and (or) areas of training is determined by the educational organization;
- Champions and medalists of the Olympic Games, Paralympic Games and Deaflympics, world champions, European champions, persons who took first place at the World Championship, European Championship in sports included in the programs of the Olympic Games, Paralympic Games and Deaflympics, as well as at other official international sports competitions, the list of which is approved by the Government of the Russian Federation, in specialties and (or) areas of training in the field of physical culture and sports.
The following are eligible to apply for places within the framework of the KCP without entrance tests (with the exception of additional entrance creative tests) for places within a separate quota:
- Orphans and children left without parental care, as well as persons from among orphans and children left without parental care;
- Disabled children, disabled people of groups I and II;
- Disabled since childhood, disabled due to a military injury or illness received during military service;
- Combat veterans from among the persons specified in subparagraphs 1 - 4 of paragraph 1 of Article 3 of the Federal Law of January 12, 1995 N 5-FZ "On Veterans";
- Heroes of the Russian Federation, persons awarded three Orders of Courage;
- Citizens undergoing (having undergone) military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, citizens undergoing (having undergone) military service (service) in the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, in military formations and bodies specified in paragraph 6 of Article 1 of the Federal Law of May 31, 1996 N 61-FZ "On Defense", subject to their participation in a special military operation in the territories of Ukraine, Donetsk People's Republic, Lugansk People's Republic, Zaporozhye region and Kherson region and (or) their performance of tasks to repel an armed invasion of the territory of the Russian Federation, during an armed provocation on the State border of the Russian Federation and the border territories of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation adjacent to the areas of the special military operation in the territories of Ukraine, Donetsk People's Republic, Lugansk People's Republic, Zaporozhye region and Kherson region, employees (employees) of law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation located (located) in the specified territories, citizens performing (performing) official and other similar functions in the specified territories;
- Citizens called up for military service upon mobilization into the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, citizens who have entered into a contract for voluntary assistance in performing tasks assigned to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation or troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, subject to their participation in a special military operation in the territories of Ukraine, Donetsk People's Republic, Lugansk People's Republic, Zaporozhye region and Kherson region and (or) their performance of tasks to repel an armed invasion of the territory of the Russian Federation, during an armed provocation on the State border of the Russian Federation and the border territories of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation adjacent to the areas of a special military operation in the territories of Ukraine, Donetsk People's Republic, Lugansk People's Republic, Zaporozhye region and Kherson region, citizens who entered into a contract (had other legal relations) with an organization facilitating the implementation of tasks, entrusted to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, subject to their participation in a special military operation in the specified territories;
- Persons who, in accordance with the decisions of state authorities of the Donetsk People's Republic, Lugansk People's Republic, took part in hostilities as part of the Armed Forces of the Donetsk People's Republic, the People's Militia of the Lugansk People's Republic, military formations and bodies of the Donetsk People's Republic and Lugansk People's Republic since May 11, 2014;
- Children — citizens of the Russian Federation of persons specified in paragraphs 6 - 8 of this part;
- Children of military personnel, employees of federal executive authorities and federal state bodies in which federal law provides for military service, employees of internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation, employees of the penal system of the Russian Federation sent to other states by state authorities of the Russian Federation and who took part in hostilities in the performance of official duties in these states;
- Children of health professionals who die as a result of infection with novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) while performing their work duties, in the main professional educational programs of medical education and pharmaceutical education.
2. Admission to the grant place of the Kyrgyz Republic
Registration of applicants applying for places under the KR grant begins according to the schedule of qualifying rounds in a remote format on the Applicant-Online website https://2020.edu.gov.kg
2.1 Who and how can enroll in the KRSU for a grant place in the KR
Admission to study in bachelor's and specialty programs is based on the results of:
- For citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic <TAG1> ORT (not below the cut-off point), college certificate or diploma;
- For citizens of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan <TAG1> ORT results (not below the cut-off point), college certificate or diploma.
The number of grant (budget) places in the Kyrgyz Republic and threshold scores are approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and will be published before the start of the first round of nationwide testing.
For the directions «Architecture», «Architectural environment design», «Costume and textile art»
Applicants who have successfully passed additional creative tests are allowed to competitively enroll in the areas of training «Architecture», «Design of the architectural environment», «Art of costume and textiles»:
- 03/07/01 RF, 750100-KR «Architecture» (drawing, drawing);
- 03/07/03 RF, 750200-KR «Architectural environment design» (drawing, drawing);
- 03/54/03 RF, 570700-KR «Art of costume and textiles» (drawing, composition).
Additional creative tests are carried out before the start of the 1st round of ORT.
2.2. When will documents be accepted for grant places in the Kyrgyz Republic
Documents will be accepted through the electronic registration system on the portal 2020.edu.gov.kg, the time and date of tours are set by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
2.3. Who can enter out of competition for grant places
- applicants who scored the highest scores in the current calendar year based on the results of the main ORT test for any specialties and areas implemented in KRSU;
- applicants who have taken 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place in the Republican Olympiad for schoolchildren in the current calendar year or who are prize-winners of international Olympiads, in specialties and areas with which the subject of the Olympiad coincides, at the choice of applicants, subject to their participation in ORT and receiving points equal to or above the threshold score;
- applicants who are winners, took 1st place, and prize-winners, took 2nd and 3rd places in the republican competition "Intellectuals of the 21st Century" of the current year, in specialties and areas of technical profile with which the nomination of the competition coincides, at the choice of applicants, subject to their participation in ORT and receiving points equal to or above the threshold score.
2.4. Quotas for KR grant places
On the basis of a competition for a field or specialty for which grant places have been allocated to KRSU, the following categories of applicants are enrolled within the quota of grant places (if supporting documents are available):
- disabled people of groups I, II;
- persons with disabilities since childhood;
- orphans and children without parental care;
- ethnic Kyrgyz;
- children of persons killed in the events that occurred on 17-18 March 2002 in Aksy district of Jalal-Abad region, in April-June 2010 and April 2021;
- persons with kairylman status.
2.5. Attention to applicants applying for grant (budget) places in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic
In accordance with Regulations on state educational grants for the education of students in state higher educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, in the event of expulsion from a university for an unexcused reason, at his own request, in connection with a transfer to an unrelated specialty or to study under an agreement with payment of the cost of training, the grant holder is obliged to reimburse the educational organization for the costs of training a specialist in the amount of a state educational grant.
Also, the grant holder is obliged to reimburse the costs in case of refusal to work in the field after completing training in a medical specialty.
Persons who are reinstated for training under a contract with payment of the cost of training and agree to fulfill the obligation to work after graduation in the direction of the commission for the personal distribution of graduates are exempt from reimbursement of tuition fees
3. Admission to contract form of education in the Kyrgyz Republic
3.1. How to apply for a contract form of training in the Kyrgyz Republic
For citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic
Registration of applicants — citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic applying for a contract form of education in the Kyrgyz Republic begins according to the schedule of qualifying rounds in a remote format on the website https://2020.edu.gov.kg.
For citizens of foreign countries
Registration of applicants - citizens of foreign countries for a contract form of study in areas of bachelor's or specialist's training begins according to the schedule of qualifying rounds in a distance format on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic https://edugate.edu.gov.kg.
3.2 Who and how can enroll in KRSU for a contract form of training in KR
For citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic <TAG1> ORT (not lower than the threshold score), certificate.
Based on secondary vocational education – College diploma, ORT (not lower than the threshold score for medical specialties), entrance tests in areas of study, individual achievements (if available).
For citizens of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus – USE results, CT, certificate.
Other foreign citizens (all levels of education except school) – educational documents*, internal entrance tests, individual achievements (if available).
*College graduates may enroll in internal entrance tests (list of VVI items) only for areas corresponding to the profile of the education received (According to the Admission Rules). If they enter a field that does not correspond to their profile, they are admitted under the same conditions as school graduates.
