1. General information about participation in ORT tours

On the portal "Abiturient-Online" (2020.edu.gov.kg(it is possible to enroll in KRSU for grant places funded by the KR and for a contract basis of study for citizens of the KR. An applicant who has an ORT certificate of the current year can take part in ORT tours, according to the tour schedule published on the reverse side of the ORT certificate.

The applicant can participate in the competition simultaneously for a contract and grant basis of study (subject to the availability of grant places).

Threshold scores are set by the KR MOiN before the start of the first round of ORT.

Documents will be accepted through the electronic registration system on the portal 2020.edu.gov.kg, the time and date of tours are set by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.

2. Admission to grant places of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and to contract places

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who are receiving higher education for the first time are accepted on a grant and contract basis for all forms of education based on the results of rounds of nationwide testing in all areas.

Applicants who have a score on the main ORT test below the threshold are not allowed to participate in the competition!

Applicants who have the results of the relevant subject tests above the threshold score participate in the competition based on the sum of the points of the main and additional subject tests and enjoy priority rights to enrollment.

The exceptions are medical specialties, for which admission to which the main test (above the threshold score) and subject tests in chemistry and biology (above the threshold score for each subject) are mandatory.

Applicants who have successfully passed additional creative tests are allowed to competitively enroll in the areas of training «Architecture», «Design of the architectural environment», «Art of costume and textiles»:

• 03/07/01 RF, 750100-KR «Architecture» (drawing, drawing);
• 03/07/03 RF, 750200-KR «Architectural environment design» (drawing, drawing);
• 54/03/03 RF, 570700-KR «Art of costume and textiles» (drawing, composition).

When enrolling in a specialty, the result of creative tests is a priority.

Entrance creative tests are carried out on the basis of the Regulations on conducting entrance creative tests in drawing, drawing, composition, approved by order of the rector of KRSU.

The number of grant (budget) places in the Kyrgyz Republic is approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and will be published before the start of the first round of nationwide testing.

Enrolment out of competition for grant places:

• applicants who scored the highest scores in the current calendar year based on the results of the main ORT test for any specialties and areas implemented in KRSU;
• applicants who took 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place in the Republican Olympiad for schoolchildren in the current calendar year or are prize-winners of international Olympiads, in specialties and areas with which the subject of the Olympiad coincides, at the choice of applicants, subject to their participation in ORT and receiving points equal to or above the threshold score
• applicants who are winners, who took 1st place, and prize-winners, who took 2nd and 3rd places in the republican competition "Intellectuals of the 21st Century" of the current year, for specialties and areas of technical profile with which the nomination of the competition coincides, at the choice of applicants, subject to their participation in ORT and receiving points equal to or above the threshold score.

Quotas for KR grant places

On the basis of a competition for a field or specialty for which grant places have been allocated to KRSU, the following categories of applicants are enrolled within the quota of grant places (if supporting documents are available):

• disabled people of groups I, II;
• persons with disabilities since childhood;
• orphans and children without parental care;
• ethnic Kyrgyz;
• children of persons killed in the events that occurred on 17-18 March 2002 in Aksy district of Jalal-Abad region, in April-June 2010 and April 2021;
• persons with kairylman status

Required documents for admission:

• a scanned copy of the passport;
• a scanned copy of a state-issued document on secondary general, secondary vocational education;
• scan copy of the national ORT testing certificate
• electronic version of the photo measuring 3*4 cm;
• a scanned copy of the results obtained from the entrance creative test (in the areas of Architecture, Architectural Environment Design, Costume and Textile Art);
• scanned copies of documents giving the right to claim benefits.

Documents for participation in the competition can only be submitted for one specialty or direction of KRSU.

The mechanism for selecting applicants for the same amount of the main and subject tests is as follows

If the main and subject tests of ORT are the same, priority is given to the applicant (subject to the provision of the original, supporting documents):

• having the sports title «Master of Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic», «Master of Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic of international class»,
• who completed compulsory military service
• having a system certificate «Kyrgistest» on the level of proficiency in the state language;
• to an applicant who has higher scores on the ORT profiling subject test.

And in the absence of such – to an applicant who has higher scores on the subject test.
Digitized documents confirming that the applicant belongs to the above categories must be attached to the AIS.

Attention to applicants applying for grant (budget) places in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In accordance with the Regulations on state educational grants for the education of students in state higher educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, in the event of expulsion from a university for an unexcused reason, at one’s own request, in connection with a transfer to an unrelated specialty or to study under an agreement with payment of the cost of education, the grant holder is obliged reimburse the educational organization for the costs of training a specialist in the amount of a state educational grant.

Also, the grant holder is obliged to reimburse the costs in case of refusal to work in the field after completing training in a medical specialty.

Persons who are reinstated for training under a contract with payment of the cost of training and agree to fulfill the obligation to work after graduation in the direction of the commission for the personal distribution of graduates are exempt from reimbursement of tuition fees
