KRSU and Kyrgyz Football Union join forces to develop football

The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and the Kyrgyz Football Union signed a memorandum of cooperation within the framework of the III Russian-Kyrgyz Educational Forum.<br/>

The document was signed by the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov and the first vice-president of the Kyrgyz Football Union Nurdin Bukuev. The agreement provides for joint work in the fields of education, student sports, personnel training, sports medicine, rehabilitation and development of sports infrastructure.<br/>

One of the key study programs will be the creation and development of the Student Football League of Bishkek Universities. It is planned that at least eight teams will take part in it in the first season.<br/>

They also intend to open a branch of the School of Football Referee of the Kyrgyz Football Union on the basis of KRSU. It is expected that at least 30 students will study there annually. The parties also plan to develop additional professional education programs in sports management, football refereeing and foreign languages.<br/>
<br />
The memorandum provides for the organization of internships and internships for KRSU students in divisions and organizations included in the football union system, as well as assistance in finding employment for graduates. The roadmap for 2026-2027 plans to have internships with at least ten students annually.<br/>
<br />
A separate block of cooperation is related to sports medicine. KRSU will participate in the organization of medical examinations and support of sporting events held by the Kyrgyz Football Union. The Center for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation «MURШК» is supposed to be used as a clinical base for practical training of students, residents and students of the university.<br/>
<br />
In addition, the partners intend to conduct joint research on sports medicine, functional diagnostics and rehabilitation of athletes, prepare teaching aids, organize conferences, seminars and master classes.<br/>
