Intercultural communication in rescue operations was discussed at an international conference

Senior Lecturer at the Department of Emergency Situations Shirin Abdykeeva spoke at the First International Scientific and Practical Conference «Language of Rescue: Effective Communication in International Rescue Operations of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations». The teacher participated in an online format.

Shirin Abdykeeva presented a report «Intercultural communication in the civil protection system during international rescue operations». In her speech, she addressed issues of interaction between civil protection specialists and emphasized the importance of linguistic and cultural competence when rescue services from different countries work together.
