The city of Guliston (Republic of Tajikistan) hosted the International Forum «Values of a Healthy Lifestyle in the Commonwealth», dedicated to the Year of Health Protection in the CIS.

Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was represented at the international site by 6th year student of the Institute of Clinical Medicine and Biomedical Technologies Kubatbekova Akylay, who was part of the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the forum, delegation participants spoke on the topic «Digital environment, information security and youth health». The topic «Digitalization in medicine of the Kyrgyz Republic» was also presented together with the epidemiologist.

The report examined the main directions of introducing digital technologies in healthcare: electronic medical records, telemedicine, artificial intelligence in diagnostics, digitalization of operating units, electronic registries and remote patient monitoring.

Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of digital solutions in pediatrics, including early screening of developmental disorders in children, as well as the use of online platforms for preventive counseling and increasing the availability of medical services. Separately, issues of information security, protection of personal data of patients and risks associated with the use of digital technologies were identified.

For Kyrgyzstan, the development of digital medicine is of particular importance, taking into account the geographical features of the country. Telemedicine, electronic health records and remote consultations can help improve access to health care for residents of remote and mountainous areas.

The forum brought together representatives of nine CIS countries. The focus was on promoting healthy lifestyles, addiction prevention, digital technologies in the field of health and international youth cooperation.

The programme included thematic discussions, workshops, trainings, intellectual events and intercultural meetings. Participants exchanged experiences and discussed the possibilities of implementing joint initiatives to promote a healthy lifestyle.

The participation of a KRSU student in the international forum was an opportunity to present the experience of Kyrgyzstan, discuss prospects for the development of digital healthcare and contribute to strengthening cooperation between the youth of the CIS countries.
