The organizers of the forum are the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin, Chelyabinsk State University and ANO for the development of regional cinema and creative industries. The project is being implemented with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund of the Russian Federation.
The main goal of the forum is to create an open platform for the development of cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan in the fields of business, culture, media, education and cinema using public diplomacy tools.
The program will begin with thematic photo zones, immersive performances and a popular science lecture on the history of traditional costume. The central event will be a plenary session «Tourism is the locomotive of the development of public diplomacy», dedicated to the interaction of border regions and the search for new points of growth in cooperation.
The forum will include thematic tracks dedicated to education, media, culture, business and cinema. Participants will discuss the role of universities in the development of scientific and educational tourism, interaction of the media in the Eurasian space, the creation of joint cultural and film projects, the development of tourism clusters and strengthening economic ties between countries.
A separate event will be the conference dedicated to the 200th anniversary of P.P. Semenov-Tyan-Shansky, where scientists, historians and students will discuss his scientific and historical heritage.
The second day of the forum, October 24, will be dedicated to the on-site program in the State Natural Park «Ala-Archa». Participants will sum up the practical results of their work and identify promising international projects for subsequent participation in grant competitions in 2027.
Forum «Eurasian Gate» aims to strengthen good neighborly relations, develop horizontal ties between professional communities and form sustainable partnerships.
