KRSU invites you to a commemorative event «Batken: Chronicle of Courage»

22 October 2025 at 1 pm in KRSU (g. Bishkek, Kyiv str., 44) a commemorative event will take place «Batken: Chronicle of Courage», dedicated to the heroes of the Batken events of 1999– 2000.

The Batken War became one of the most difficult pages in the modern history of Kyrgyzstan. This is a time of trials, courage and dedication, which has forever entered the national memory as a symbol of perseverance and loyalty to the Motherland.

The event program includes:

speeches by participants and eyewitnesses of the Batken events;

historical chronicle and documentary evidence reflecting the course of those days;

literary and musical composition dedicated to the feat of Kyrgyz soldiers;

a minute of silence in honor of the fallen defenders of the Motherland.

The commemorative meeting is aimed at preserving historical memory, instilling in young people a sense of patriotism, civic responsibility and respect for the feat of the country's defenders. The organizers note that such initiatives help strengthen social unity and awareness of generational continuity.
