From October 22 to 29, 2020, the National Research University «Higher School of Economics» is holding the VIII International Youth Olympiad.
Participation in the competition is free.
The Olympics will be held in face-to-face (offline) and remote (online) formats.
Foreign nationals and stateless persons are invited to participate, as follows
– pupils in years 10-11 (years 11-12 with a 12-year programme of study) of schools, upper secondary schools, lyceums and colleges;
– graduates of foreign general education organizations and students of foreign universities under the age of 30.
Foreign citizens under the age of 30 living on the territory of the Russian Federation are also invited.
The Olympic competitions will take place in the following areas: English, Oriental Studies, Design, Journalism, World History, Cultural Studies, Mathematics, Media Communications, International Relations, Law, Psychology, Advertising and Public Relations, Social Sciences (Human). Society. State), modern politics, physics, philology and philosophy.
Anyone wishing to take part in the International Youth Olympiad 2021 must register online until October 12, 2020. To submit an application, in addition to filling out the registration form, it is necessary to prepare a motivation letter in which the participant must freely talk about himself about his educational achievements, motivation to participate in the Olympics, and, possibly, about plans to study at the National Research University Higher School of Economics indicating the future educational program.
Winners and prize-winners of the Olympics entering undergraduate education at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in 2021 and 2022 will be able to apply for a full state scholarship from the Government of the Russian Federation (quota) for training in undergraduate/specialty educational programs at the Higher School of Economics, subject to the application conditions, which will be posted on the IOM website in November-December 2020.
