On December 19-23, 2021, the International Forum of Young Intellectuals dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States will be held in Bishkek with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States (IFHC).
In the modern world, in the context of increasing globalization processes, the most susceptible part of society to change is young people. It is this part of society that has a high level of mobility, intellectual activity, health, readiness to perceive new things, and the desire to contribute to the future of the country. By quickly perceiving changes in the educational and information environment, young people are able to respond mobilely and adequately to public challenges. Due to these same qualities, young people have another competence that is relevant for a modern multicultural society – tolerance. Therefore, at the present stage, youth is the most important resource for the development of society. And youth policy aimed at creating international communication youth platforms can be considered as a key tool that forms this resource. One of these platforms was the International Forum of Young Intellectuals, becoming the successor and successor of the Issyk-Kul Forum Ch. Aitmatova.

The VIII Forum was dedicated to the Year of Books in the CIS (2019).
During its existence, the forum has become an effective communication platform for intercultural, professional and leisure communication among young people.
In 2021, representatives of youth organizations from member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Georgia, and the Baltics, who are actively involved in the implementation of international and interethnic youth projects both in their countries and in the CIS, take part in the forum. The forum participants, despite their young age, have already become professionals, successful specialists and experts in issues of the youth movement. These are people who have strong civic beliefs, patriotism and tolerance, who are ready to make every effort to form a sustainable and progressive society open to peaceful development.
At the forum sites it is expected to consider the problems and prospects for the development of youth cooperation in the CIS countries.
The forum events will be held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and at the Republican Library for Children and Youth named after. K. Bayalinova
