On September 16, 2021 the Faculty of Economics of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) is holding the VI Kumskov Readings «Industrial Policy under Technological Constraints» in memory of prominent scientists, founders of scientific schools in the Kyrgyz Republic – Vladimir Ivanovich Kumskov and Nail Khasanovna Kumskova. Conducting scientific readings in memory of prominent scientists is one of the established traditions of the Faculty of Economics of KRSU.
The topics of the Kumskov readings create an opportunity for researchers to present the results of their scientific activities on a wide range of economic problems, both those that fit into the main direction of modern economic science and those that contradict generally accepted views. The Kumskov readings, in their internal content, contribute to the development of scientific research, educational activities, dissemination of information for the purpose of real development of national economies and act as the basis for joint international research projects. The main topic for discussion this year is – the problem of technological lag of the EAEU.
The conference is being implemented as part of the anniversary events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic, and in order to develop effective scientific and practical recommendations for the economic revival of the country of the project «Adaptation of the theoretical and methodological foundations of effective industrializations to the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic» of the KRSU Development Program for 2021.
