Center for Historical and Cultural Heritage

General information

Center for Historical and Cultural Heritage (hereinafter –the Center) is a structural unit of the Interstate Educational Organization of Higher Education Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin (hereinafter – University).

The center was created to conduct scientific and educational events in the field of general historical and cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation, based on reliable and scientifically based knowledge, and to popularize the achievements of historical science and culture.
In its activities, the Center is guided by the current legislation and regulations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation, the Charter of the University, local regulations of the University, and decisions of the Academic Council of the University.

The functions of the Centre shall be to

Study of current problems of the general history and culture of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation;

Reconstruction of the historical picture of cooperation and interaction between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation;

Preparation of scientific, scientific and journalistic materials in accordance with the scientific priorities of the Center and the University;

Organizes scientific and practical events on current problems of general historical and cultural development of Kyrgyzstan and Russia;

Participates in the implementation of memorial work activities;

Organizes historical exhibitions;

Conducts work to popularize the results of scientific research in scientific publications and the media;

Promotes the involvement of students in research work.
