Research activities
The faculty operates scientific schools:
- Comparative and comparative typology of foreign languages (supervisors – Professor A.A. Bekbalaev, associate professor O.S. Abdykaimova);
- Current problems of history and culture of Kyrgyzstan (head – academician V.M. Flat);
- Methodology of teaching the Kyrgyz language as a second language (supervisor – professor K.A. Biyaliev).
- History of Russian Literature (Supervisor – Doctor of Physical and Scientific Sciences, Professor B.T. Koichuev);
- History of Kyrgyz literature (head, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor O.I. Ibraimov.
In 2020-2021 alone, faculty teachers published: 4 monographs, 21 textbooks and teaching aids, 127 scientific articles, of which 2 were indexed in Scopus and 2 were indexed in Web of Science, 19 reports.
In 2020, teachers participated in 119 conferences, of which 99 –international; in 2021 – in 204 conferences, of which 141 – international, 12 conferences and 15 events were also organized and held, in particular: International scientific conference "The Nature of Scientific Knowledge"», dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Academician A.Ch. Kakeeva "(February 25, 2021), XIV Interfaculty Student Scientific Conference" Universal through National "Round Table «Challenges of Modernity and Philosophy», dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kyrgyz statehood within the framework of World Philosophy Day established by UNESCO (November 18, 2021), Interuniversity Scientific Conference "Russian Language in the Context of Interaction of Languages and Cultures in Kyrgyzstan" and many others.
The faculty regularly improves their qualifications and attends scientific seminars and courses. In 2021 alone, 6 diplomas, 155 certificates and certificates were received. 19 acts of implementation in the educational process have been drawn up.
The Faculty of Humanities also organizes research work with students. In the 2020-2021 academic year, more than 300 students took part in it, 205 reports were prepared, and 30 student papers were submitted to competitions. Students participated in 34 scientific conferences and round tables, four Olympiads (intra-university, inter-university, Internet Olympiads), international competitions and festivals. For example: university student interfaculty Olympiad in philosophy (December 16, 2021); VI Interfaculty Student Olympiad in Logic (April 23, 2021), conference «First scientific conference on Korean studies among students of Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan)»; YARPIAR 2020 – NEW projects, new week of PR and advertising on the Yenisei. (20-23/04/2020); Crystal Orange (June 2020); Moscow Polytechnic University competition «DigitalPRactics» (December 2020); Moscow Polytechnic University competition «DigitalPRactics» (December 2021); international advertising festival "Lemon" of Moscow Polytechnic University (04/30/2021); interuniversity competition "Russia in poetry and works of classics", organized by the Eurasians - New Wave Foundation (October 21, 2021); republican interuniversity student festival dedicated to Chingiz Aitmatov «AITMATOV-FIESTA» (December 10, 2021), etc.
Grants for the Erasmus+ project in 2020 were won by the following students: Surin Ekaterina GLMK 1-17, Ataybekova Sabira GLP 1-17, Dzhumanalieva Ayan GLP 1-17, Aitbek kyzy Munarzhan GPPA 1-17, Makenova Aizada GPPA 1-17, Tolokova Alzira GPPA 1-17.
