Faculty structure

Educational activities at the faculty are carried out by 8 graduating departments:

• department of Russian Language;
• department of History and Theory of Literature;
• department of History named after Academician V.M. Flat;
• department of Psychology;
• department of Philosophy named after Academician A.Ch. Kakeeva;
• department of Theory and Practice of English and Intercultural Communication;
• department of Germanic Philology;
• department of Advertising and Public Relations.

The faculty has 1 interfaculty department:

• department of Kyrgyz Language.

Material and technical base

At the faculty at the departments of Russian language, history and theory of literature, advertising and public relations, psychology, history named after Academician V.M. Flat, theory and practice of the English language and intercultural communication, philosophy, German philology there are 8 educational and methodological rooms, in addition at the Department of Philosophy and the Department of History named after Academician A.Ch. Flat 3 laboratories were created. The Faculty of Humanities has five computer classrooms and one language lab.

Also, the Faculty of Humanities has the following units of the KRSU:

• Russian Language Institute named after A. Orusbayev;
• Department «Pushkin Institute», organized as a representative office of the State Institute of Russian Language named after. A.S. Pushkin;
• Educational and scientific language center "Unico Tempus";
•  Resource Center for Russian Literature and Manas Studies named after. Professor M.A. Rudova.
