The Federation Council delegation visited KRSU

On April 10, a meeting was held between the leadership of KRSU with the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Deputy Co-Chairman from the Russian part of the Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Farit Mukhametshin and Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture Natalia Kosikhina.

The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was represented by the rector of KRSU, academician Vladimir Nifadiev, vice-rectors Leonid Sumarokov, Leila Sydykova and Valery Lelevkin, as well as the head of the UMS Yulia Kalyuzhnaya. Also taking part in the discussion were the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Kyrgyz Republic, Viktor Nefedov, and the Advisor to the Russian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, Viktor Kharchenko.

The parties discussed problematic issues of the university’s activities and plans for its development. The guests got acquainted with the results of the educational and scientific activities of the university and expressed interest in implementing university initiatives to improve the educational process.
