Associate Professor of KRSU E. Radchenko made a report at an international conference on enterovirus infection in the Kyrgyz Republic
On April 4-5, an international scientific and practical conference «Current trends in the development of infectology, medical parasitology, epidemiology and microbiology» was held in the city of Urgench (Uzbekistan.
More than 200 specialists from Russia, Kazakhstan, took part in this conference Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan.
The conference was organized by Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent Medical Academy, Urgench branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy, IOO «Euro-Asian Society for Infectious Diseases», Federal Budgetary Institution Moscow Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after G. Gabrichevsky.
The Minister of Health welcomed the participants with opening remarks Republic of Uzbekistan, Prof. A. Inoyatov.
Delegation from Kyrgyzstan it was represented mainly by heads of departments of infectious diseases and young scientists from medical universities of the Kyrgyz Republic (KRSU, KSMA, MVSM, KSMIPIPK).
From Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic the university made presentations at the conference head of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Associate Professor Elena Radchenko («Enterovirus infection in the Kyrgyz Republic») and teacher of the department Timur Yunusov («Clinical case of generalized tetanus in a child»).
E. Radchenko spoke about the current state of study of enterovirus infection in the Kyrgyz Republic, touched upon the problems of laboratory diagnostics, deciphering a huge number of enteroviruses as etiological agents of this infection, and characterized the semiotics of enterovirus serous meningitis in children in the age aspect, as one of the forms of enterovirus infection.
The participants of the delegation from Kyrgyzstan expressed special gratitude for organizing the conference to Muborakhon Akhmedova, a member of the presidium of the Euro-Asian Society for Infectious Diseases, professor of the Department of Infectious and Childhood Infectious Diseases of the Tashkent Medical Academy.
