The Faculty of Design and Construction KRSU was named after the first dean, Ravil Munirovich Muksinov

The Faculty of Design and Construction of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) was named after its first dean, professor and outstanding architect Ravil Munirovich Muksinov. This event highlights the contribution that Muksinov made to the development of architecture and education in Kyrgyzstan.

Ravil Munirovich Muksinov was born in 1952 in Leningrad. In 1974, he graduated from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute with a degree in architecture.

His career has been recognized by many merits: he was a professor, academician of the Academy of Architecture and Construction of the Kyrgyz Republic, corresponding member of the International Academy of Architecture of the Eastern Countries, corresponding member of the International Academy of Architecture (Moscow Branch, 2019), as well as corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

In addition, Ravil Muksinov was an Honored Education Worker of the Kyrgyz Republic, an honorary architect of the Kyrgyz Republic, a member of the Union of Architects of the Kyrgyz Republic and a member of the Union of Journalists of Moscow. As dean of KRSU, he taught fine, arts and crafts and architecture, leaving an indelible mark on the history of the university and on the lives of many students.
