Global challenges and national identity: an interuniversity conference was held at KRSU

The 19th Interuniversity Student Scientific and Practical Conference «Universal through National» was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, uniting students and undergraduates from the country's leading universities.The conference was attended by students of KRSU, as well as representatives of the Kyrgyz National University named after Zhusup Balasagyn and the Kyrgyz Economic University named after Musa Ryskulbekov.A key topic of discussion was the search for a balance between national identity and universal values in the context of globalization and digitalization. Participants addressed a wide range of topical issues —from the transformation of the individual in the information society and the phenomenon «of the digital person» to the influence of social networks on the worldview of young people, problems of self-determination and the formation of values. Special attention was paid to environmental issues and the preservation of peace.The conference also discussed the social aspects of modern students, including the «working student» phenomenon and the challenges faced by young people in a changing educational and professional environment.Based on the results of the conference, it was noted that KRSU continues to strengthen its position as one of the key platforms for the development of humanitarian and socio-philosophical thought. The materials of the speeches will be published in the next issue of the scientific collection «Current problems of philosophy, political science and religious studies».The event ended with an award ceremony. The winners of the competition of student scientific works were Aidina Musaeva, Ayim Aliyeva, Mahabat Nurgazieva and Arina Dontsova, who presented the best research in the field of philosophy, religious studies, political science and sociology.Participants emphasized the high level of organization of the conference and noted its importance as an effective platform for scientific dialogue and exchange of views.
