Members of six divisions participated: Engineering, Medical, Socio-Humanitarian, Human Capital Division, Student Division, and Assembly Division. Their coordinated work made it possible to create a comprehensive vision of the development of KRSU and its role in the educational and scientific ecosystem of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Rector's perspective: why this is needed

In his opening speech acting by the rector of KRSU, Sergei Volkov clearly stated: «University strategy — is not just a document, it is the basis of our future. We have an agreed concept supported by the founders. The next step —its protection before the relevant ministries of Russia and Kyrgyzstan». He thanked the participants for their contributions and emphasized that the implementation of the strategy will begin in the first quarter of 2025. One of the key tasks will be the construction of a modern university campus, which will provide students and teachers with everything necessary for effective work and study.

What they talked about: strategic accents

1. Innovative projects

• Technopark: "Our priority is — robotics and programming," — noted Artyom Belyaev, project manager. "We plan to integrate science, education and practice, creating a unique space for students."

• Educational complex «Zhashtyk»: A new format of tourism based on modern marketing research and detailed calculation of payback. The project is supervised by economist Andrei Dogadin.

• Migration Center: Solving the problems of adapting labor resources to the requirements of the EAEU. The leader was Azamat Aidarbekov.

2. Strengthening partnerships

The university is actively building interaction with relevant ministries, business communities and international organizations. Particular attention is paid to developing cooperation with leading Russian universities and foreign partners, which will not only attract investment, but also develop science. The new campus will become a platform for such collaborations.

3. New approaches to personnel training

From modernizing educational programs to creating new jobs — the university plans to respond to the challenges of the time and the needs of the labor market. New programmes in artificial intelligence, biotechnology and environmental governance will be launched in the coming years.

Peer reviews and future plans

According to experts, the KRSU strategy is distinguished by an integrated approach. "An important step is the construction of a campus, which will become not only an educational, but also a cultural center," experts noted. Plans to develop scientific research and strengthen international relations were also highly appreciated.

As part of the 2030 strategy, it is planned to further develop the scientific infrastructure, create interdisciplinary laboratories, increase grant support for students and teachers, and launch world-class online courses. The campus will be a symbol of the new era of the university, opening doors to talented students from all over the world.

The bottom line: a step towards the future

In the finale, Sergei Volkov recalled: «Every idea, every project — is a contribution to the development of our university and country. It is important that the strategy becomes a living tool working for the benefit of every student and teacher».

This meeting was further confirmation that KRSU is not just making plans, but moving towards their implementation. The participants are confident that joint work aimed at ambitious goals will be the key to the success of the university for the next decade. As part of the 2030 strategy, the university will continue to pursue key initiatives, including campus development and strengthening its status as the flagship of innovative education in the region.
