I Interuniversity Olympiad in Histology KRSU-KSMA
On April 27, the 1st interuniversity Olympiad in histology KRSU-KSMA was held at the medical department of KRSU.
The best students from two universities were gathered for the Olympiad. On the team of our university «Shaped elements KRSU» there were 13 people. The captain of the team was Rafiz Hasanov, a 2nd year medical student. In the KSMA team «People in white» there were 12 people. The team captain was Nurdin.
The Olympics, in turn, consisted of 5 stages:
- homework
- the calling card of the team
- description of micropreparations
- quiz
- answers to situational problems
Based on the results of the jury's decision, the KRSU and KSMA teams shared the victory in the competition for the best description of micropreparations.
The diploma "For the best business card" went to the KSMA team. Also, the KSMA team received the highest score in the "Quiz" category. The KRSU team received the diploma "For the best description of micropreparations.". "Formal elements of KRSU" won in the category "Answers to situational tasks.". Also, the KRSU team won the diploma "For the best homework".
Of course, both teams showed their best side throughout the Olympics and were almost equal. Summing up, it is worth noting that our university’s team "Form elements of KRSU" took first place. All Olympiad participants received personalized certificates.
In turn, the participants expressed their deep gratitude to the jury members and especially emphasized the contribution of the Ph.D., Head of the Department of Histology, Embryology and Cytology of KRSU - Olga Petrovna Kalugina - for the very idea of holding the Olympiad and, of course, for the highest organization of the event -.
Also, students especially noted the contribution of Doctor of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Elena Valerievna Sharova.
