Foreign students of KRSU took prizes at the interuniversity conference

Not long ago, the Department of Natural Sciences of the International Medical University held an interuniversity scientific and practical conference dedicated to «International Epilepsy Day (Purple Day)», in which 95 foreign students studying at medical universities of the Kyrgyz Republic took an active part.

Scientific works for the conference were submitted in 4 categories in Kyrgyz, English and Russian.

Students of the Faculty of Medicine of KRSU, studying in English, made three presentations from the Department of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Medical Genetics, earning 2 first prizes and one second in two categories.

1st place in the category «Best Art Poster» under the guidance of senior lecturer of the department M. Batyrov was occupied by a student Yashwanthnadh Manchukonda (gr. Ldi-3-17), c report «Psychogenic non-epileptic seizures».

Same place in the nomination «Best Poster Presentation» received by a student Disha Bedmuta (gr. Ldi-7-17), who presented a report under the guidance of senior lecturer of the department A. Upaeva «Clinical case of structural epilepsy with hippocampal sclerosis».

And with 2nd place in the « nominationBest Poster Presentation» congratulations are due Ravi Revarnth (gr. Ldi-6-19) for the report «Clinical case of structural epilepsy with focal cortical dysplasia» (supervisor – A. Upaeva).
