Learning Turkish!
On December 7, KRSU was visited by a Turkish delegation consisting of Education Advisor of the Turkish Embassy in Bishkek Kurshat Dulkadir, Director of the Center for Turkish Language Studies TTEOMER Mustafa Bulut, Assistant Director of TTEOMER Ali Turkela, TTEOMER teacher at KRSU Typhoon Tolubasha.
The guests were received by the dean of the FMO, associate professor Alexey Kulikovsky and director of the Center for Turkology Elmira Osmonova.
The parties discussed issues of teaching Turkish at the FMO: the number of students choosing Turkish as a second professional foreign language, technical and methodological support for the Turkology Center, and student internships.
The Turkish side noted the importance of TTEOMER courses as an educational platform for studying the Turkish language and thanked the university management for their active cooperation.
Then, KRSU students who completed the training were awarded certificates of completion of the courses.
The certificate obtained in the courses provides the opportunity to improve the level of knowledge of the Turkish language (levels A1, A2, B1, B2); students of level B1 and B2 with high scores have the opportunity to enter the excursion group to visit Istanbul in 2023.
Dean of the FMO A. Kulikovsky thanked the Turkish Embassy in Bishkek and representatives of the TTEOMER center for the visit, many years of cooperation and noted that the university is ready to support projects of the Turkish side.
