The KRSU team received a diploma from the Pharmacology Olympiad held at KazNMU
April 21, students of the scientific circle of the Department of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology KRSU (team «asPRin» – A. Tyumin, B. Ryazantsev, P. Kuchmasova, A. Myrsabekova, N. Mansurova under the leadership of Zthe leading department is Professor A. Zurdinova, Associate Professor A. Sharaeva and Senior Lecturer G. Kirgizbaeva) arrived at KazNMU named after. S. Asfendiyarov, where they took part in the subject Olympiad in pharmacology among students 1-3 years old.
The Olympiad participants were warmly greeted by the rector of KazNMU Marat Shoranov, vice-rector for scientific work of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education Saratov State Medical University named after. V. Razumovsky Ministry of Health of Russia, Doctor of Medical Sciences Alexander Fedonnikov, dean of the School of General Medicine-1 of the Kazakh National Medical University Slu Izmailova.
As part of the competition, students underwent a three-stage knowledge assessment – testing (100 tests), a blitz survey with key questions on pharmacology, and solving situational problems on the topic of the discipline. In total, 19 teams from different medical universities in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Russia took part in the competition. Each of them was represented by five participants.
All «Olympians» showed decent results, gained competitive experience, and expanded their knowledge and skills in pharmacology.
The teams were awarded certificates and diplomas of various categories. In particular, our team received a diploma «Best Olympiad Participants» and a letter of gratitude from the rector Kazakh National Medical University named after. S. Asfendiyarova Marat Shoranov.
