KRSU is actively developing cooperation with the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation
On March 16 and 22, 2022, as part of the «Visiting Professor» program, teachers from the Department of Public Finance of the Faculty of Finance – Professor Olga Makashina and Associate Professor Natalya Alekseevna held lectures for students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin (KRSU) (g. Bishkek, Republic of Kyrgyzstan).
In total, more than 70 KRSU 2nd and 3rd year students studying in the profile «Finance and Credit» attended the lectures.
The lectures were devoted to discussing current problems of the budget system and budget policy of the Russian Federation, the organization of interbudgetary relations in Russia.
KRSU students were interested in the challenges facing the budget system of the Russian Federation in the new macroeconomic realities, asked to talk in more detail about the use of results-based budgeting in Russia and shared their experience in introducing relevant practice in Kyrgyzstan.
Due to the commonality of problems that the budget systems of Russia and the CIS countries have to face, it is necessary to develop common approaches and ways of interaction, taking into account national characteristics and development strategies. Since it is impossible to discuss the designated topics in full within the framework of the two meetings, the Department of Public Finance of the Faculty of Finance intends to continue the series of events of various formats within the framework of international cooperation, dedicated to current problems in the field of state and municipal finance.
