KRSU and «Aeroflot» are expanding cooperation: scholarships, discounted flights and new educational programs

As part of the Program for the Development of Cooperation with Members of the Board of Trustees of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University for 2026, approved at a meeting on January 30, new areas of partnership with PJSC «Aeroflot» are outlined. The set of solutions is focused on supporting students, developing academic mobility and launching joint educational projects. The deadline for the implementation of key activities is set until September 1, 2026.One of the central projects will be the establishment of a scholarship program «Aeroflot – KRSU» for the 15 best students of specialized study programs training. Support will be addressed to students demonstrating high academic results and professional motivation.Additionally, the introduction of preferential fares for air travel on the Bishkek — Moscow route for students and teachers is being considered. The initiative is aimed at expanding opportunities for academic mobility, participation in internships, scientific events and educational programs in Russian universities.The information presence of the university is planned to be strengthened by posting materials about KRSU in the logbooks of regular flights between Moscow and Bishkek. This will increase the university’s recognition among a wide audience of passengers and strengthen its image as one of the leading interstate universities in the region.A separate area of cooperation is related to educational initiatives. With methodological and organizational support from the corporate university «Aeroflot» together with LLC «Airports of Kyrgyzstan», it is planned to implement additional professional education programs. The projects are focused on training and advanced training of specialists for the aviation and transport industries.It also provides support for social initiatives aimed at developing the student environment and expanding opportunities for professional growth of youth.The new package of measures forms a practical model for interaction between education and industry business, providing additional resources for personnel training and strengthening ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia in the field of higher education and professional development.
