KRSU and financial intelligence: cooperation and Olympiad for students and schoolchildren
At the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) a meeting was held between the acting rector Sergei Volkov and the director of the training center of the State Financial Intelligence Service Lira Omurbekova. The main topic was the development of joint work to train specialists in the field of financial security, as well as the organization of the Republican Olympiad, which includes both school and student stages.
Lira Omurbekova congratulated the management of KRSU on the fact that two participants from the university became winners of the international Olympiad on financial security.
«Since last year, we have been actively working on organizing the Olympiad, bringing it to the republican level. Everyone participates, and the winners are trained on the basis of financial intelligence. KRSU students show high preparedness, which greatly facilitates their further employment'

Over the past three years, the number of Olympiad participants has tripled, demonstrating growing interest in the topic of financial security among young people. Sergey Volkov also emphasized the importance of holding such events for the development of the Faculty of Economics of KRSU.
«The Olympiad covers all regions of the country, starting from the first school stage. It is important for us to get involved in this process, as this will be a serious support in recruiting applicants to the Faculty of Economics of our university»

As part of further cooperation, close work is planned to hold a four-stage Olympiad. In November of this year, it is planned to launch a pilot project in Bishkek, in which 300 schoolchildren in grades 9-11 will take part. According to the organizers, this will be an excellent opportunity to assess schoolchildren’s interest in the topic of financial security. The Olympics will be held on the basis of KRSU, and then, if successful, will be expanded to the republican level.
