KRSU and «Gazprom Kyrgyzstan» signed a memorandum on the development of human resources capacity

The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. N. Yeltsin and LLC «Gazprom Kyrgyzstan» signed a memorandum of cooperation, approving a roadmap for joint activities aimed at training qualified personnel for the gas industry and developing practice-oriented education. The parties secured the agreements with the signatures of the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov and the deputy general director of LLC «Gazprom Kyrgyzstan» Almaz Aldayarov.The agreement defines specific steps for interaction between the parties for 2025–2027 and covers all levels of training, from blue-collar professions and secondary vocational education to higher and additional vocational training.One of the key study programs cooperation was the implementation of joint blue-collar professions and secondary vocational education programs. The roadmap provides for determining a list of in-demand specialties taking into account the needs of the company, developing and updating training programs with the participation of specialized specialists, as well as conducting qualifying exams according to professional standards.Practical training of students will be organized on the basis of the educational and production center and branches «Gazprom Kyrgyzstan». It is also planned that KRSU student teams will participate in the summer work semesters at the company’s facilities, which will allow future specialists to gain real production experience during their studies.A separate block of the memorandum is devoted to the development of dual education and additional vocational education programs. The parties agreed to jointly develop and implement advanced training programs, as well as to launch pilot dual programs combining university studies with practical training in production. Provision is made for the annual implementation of at least one program of additional professional education and one program for training specialists at the primary and secondary levels of qualifications.An important part of the cooperation was the support of KRSU students. The memorandum provides for the establishment of personalized scholarships «Gazprom» for 30 students of specialized study programs in the amount of 10 thousand soms per month with payment at the end of each semester. In addition, the agreement covers career guidance, participation of university students and sports teams in corporate events of the company, as well as support for cultural and extracurricular activities.The signed roadmap consolidates the transition from certain forms of interaction to a systemic partnership between the university and one of the country's key energy companies. For KRSU, this means expanding practice-oriented training, strengthening connections with the real sector of the economy and training specialists in demand in the labor market. For «Gazprom Kyrgyzstan» this is the formation of a personnel reserve and participation in the development of a modern educational environment.The memorandum lays the foundation for long-term cooperation focused on the sustainable development of human resources and improving the quality of vocational education in the Kyrgyz Republic.
