KRSU and «Gazprom Kyrgyzstan» are starting to develop a roadmap for cooperation
Today, a delegation of KRSU, led by the university management, visited the training and production center «Gazprom Kyrgyzstan» — one of the most modern training sites for gas industry personnel.
During the visit, the parties discussed expanding cooperation in the field of secondary vocational and higher education, as well as training specialists in demand in the labor market.
Rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov noted that practice-oriented learning is a key priority of the university, and partnerships with industry enterprises allow students to gain real competencies that are valued by employers.
Sergey Volkov and Deputy General Director «Gazprom Kyrgyzstan» Sabyrbek Ozorbekovich agreed to develop a comprehensive roadmap that will cover
- joint educational programs at the college, undergraduate and graduate levels;
- organizing internships and internships based on the training center and company departments;
- opportunities for targeted training for the company.
Representatives «Gazprom Kyrgyzstan» gave a tour of the training center, where workshops, laboratories, welding stations, training grounds and specialized classes are located. The university got an idea of the ready-made infrastructure that will allow for high-quality practical training in blue-collar and engineering specialties.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed on further steps, including the exchange of lists of in-demand professions, the development of a financial model of cooperation and the preparation of draft road maps.
The partnership with «Gazprom Kyrgyzstan» will be an important step in the development of KRSU engineering education, provide students with access to a modern production base and open up new opportunities for employment and professional growth.
