KRSU and «Gazprom» discussed areas of interaction
A meeting took place between the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov and the deputy general director of the LLC Arzymat Aldayarov.
The parties discussed key issues related to the implementation of the project to build a new university campus and interaction within the framework of the Board of Trustees.
Particular attention was paid to the engineering infrastructure of the future campus. It was about connecting to water supply, sewerage, electricity and gasification systems. In particular, it was noted that the functioning of the complex will require up to 16 megawatts of electricity and about 39 gigacalories of heat. The prospects for creating a gas piston installation were considered, as well as plans for the development of a gas pipeline network in the direction of the villages of Baytika and Kashka-Suu.
Sergei Volkov emphasized that designing a campus is impossible without clear technical conditions and synchronization of actions with specialized public and private structures. «Any design starts with a request by communications. It is important for us to have clear conditions so that builders can immediately lay down the necessary solutions», — noted the rector.
Partnership issues were discussed in a separate block: training personnel for the energy sector, creating specialized laboratories on campus, as well as the possibility of supporting students through personalized scholarships and an endowment fund.
«KRSU is ready not only to build a new campus, but also to form a modern system for training specialists together with leading companies. It is fundamentally important for us to understand what kind of personnel the real sector needs, and to organize training so that our graduates are in demand», — said Sergei Volkov.
During the meeting, initiatives in the sports and social sphere were also touched upon: support for university teams, cooperation in the development of sports infrastructure and projects in the field of health and rehabilitation.
The parties agreed to continue work on a memorandum of cooperation, which will establish specific areas of interaction, including personnel training, scholarship programs and participation in the development of the KRSU campus.
