KRSU and the National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine signed a cooperation agreement

A working meeting was held at the National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine of the Russian Ministry of Health, following which a cooperation agreement was signed between KRSU and NMIC. The document was signed by the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov and the director of the center, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Oksana Drapkina.The agreement provides for the development of joint activities in the field of medical science, education and practical healthcare. Key study programs include conducting scientific research, including epidemiological projects, exchanging analytical and scientific information, developing and implementing educational programs, as well as organizing internships and academic mobility for students and specialists.Special attention is paid to the introduction of modern medical technologies, the development of digital healthcare and personnel training. Cooperation also involves the participation of specialists in joint conferences, scientific projects and international initiatives.The National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine of the Russian Ministry of Health is one of the country's leading scientific and clinical centers, coordinating research in the field of disease prevention, public health and therapy. The center performs the functions of the basic organization of the CIS countries in the field «therapy and preventive medicine», providing scientific, methodological and educational support.The KRSU delegation includes representatives of the Faculty of Medicine, headed by Rector Sergei Volkov, including the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Saamai Abilova. During the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the work of the center, including a biobank, an accreditation and simulation center, a biochemical laboratory, an epidemiology department and a clinical diagnostic unit.Following the meeting, the parties also agreed to prepare a roadmap for cooperation, which specifies joint projects and stages of their implementation.
