KRSU and Russian universities are expanding the horizons of cooperation

At the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, a meeting was held between the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov and the rector of the Kostroma State Agricultural Academy, chairman of the Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Agrarian Universities Mikhail Volkhonov.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of education and science, as well as preparations for the Second Russian-Kyrgyz Educational Forum. This large-scale project will unite leading universities of the two countries, representatives of government authorities, business and the scientific community.

The key topic of the forum will be the contribution of universities in Russia and Kyrgyzstan to the development of the economy and society of the two countries. "Cooperation with Russian universities — is not only an academic exchange, but also the creation of new opportunities for young people, who tomorrow will determine the development of Kyrgyzstan and Russia," noted Sergei Volkov.

Particular attention will be paid to practical cooperation between universities and industrial partners.
