KRSU and RUDN University launched a pedagogical expedition to the regions of Kyrgyzstan

A pedagogical expedition of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia has started in Kyrgyzstan. As part of the project, teachers and experts from two universities hold career guidance meetings with schoolchildren, lectures for teachers and negotiations with the leadership of educational institutions on expanding cooperation.The first events of the expedition took place at the boarding school №11 named after Valentina Tereshkova in Osh. The meeting was attended by high school students from about 70 schools in the city.During the career guidance session, schoolchildren were told about modern educational areas, opportunities for higher education, in-demand professions and career prospects. Participants also discussed the benefits and risks of different occupational trajectories. The most active schoolchildren received memorable prizes.A separate program was prepared for teachers of Russian language and literature. A lecture-conversation was held for teachers with the participation of specialists from the Institute of Russian Language KRSU and teachers from the Institute of Russian Language of RUDN University.The organizers also thanked the management of the boarding school named after Valentina Tereshkova for the high level of organization of the event and assistance in holding the meeting.The pedagogical expedition will cover the Talas, Osh and Jalal-Abad regions. Educational meetings, methodological consultations for teachers and career guidance events for high school students are held in the regions.The project is aimed at developing educational cooperation, supporting the teaching of the Russian language and career guidance work with schoolchildren in the regions of Kyrgyzstan.
