KRSU and Innopolis University have signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of AI and exact sciences

On the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum «Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum», the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and Innopolis University signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of information technology, artificial intelligence and physics and mathematics education. The document was signed by the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov and the rector of Innopolis University Alexander Gasnikov. The agreement provides for the development of joint educational programs, academic mobility, scientific projects and additional advanced training programs for teachers. One of the key study programs will be the participation of KRSU students and teachers in the undergraduate educational program «Mathematical Foundations of Artificial Intelligence», as well as the exchange of educational materials and educational resources.The parties paid special attention to working with schoolchildren in Kyrgyzstan. As part of the cooperation, they plan to involve students in lectures by science popularizers, physics and mathematics festivals and other project events «Physics and Mathematics Breakthrough». The Russian IT university project is aimed at developing schoolchildren’s interest in mathematics, computer science and exact sciences, as well as increasing the number of applicants entering engineering and technical specialties. In addition, universities agreed to jointly develop innovative projects, conduct scientific and scientific-practical events, internships and research programs.The parties are also considering expanding cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence, digital technologies and training for high-tech industries.The agreement will expand access of Kyrgyz schoolchildren and students to modern educational practices and strengthen interaction with one of the leading IT universities in Russia.
