KRSU and RWB University have agreed to develop partnership projects
An online meeting was held between the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov and the rector of RWB University Mikhail Antropov. Representatives of universities and partner organizations working in the field of entrepreneurship, e-commerce and education took part in the negotiations.
The main topic of the meeting was the development of cooperation in the field of educational programs, student support and the creation of joint infrastructure projects.
Sergei Volkov told his colleagues about the large-scale construction of a new campus KRSU with an area of 114 thousand square meters, which will become the first international campus outside of Russia. He emphasized that the university is interested in partnership with business and is ready to provide sites for opening entrepreneurship centers, classrooms and specialized laboratories.
Particular attention was paid to initiatives to develop student entrepreneurship. The parties discussed the possibility of creating a business support center on the basis of KRSU, as well as the participation of university students in RWB University projects and federal programs for the development of e-commerce.
«We are ready to offer our students real business cases, the opportunity to work with modern technologies and gain practical skills that are in demand in the new digital economy», — noted Sergei Volkov.
In addition, the prospects for launching joint educational programs were discussed: from additional professional education courses to network master's programs in the areas of e-commerce, digital entrepreneurship and applied artificial intelligence. Representatives of RWB emphasized that similar formats work successfully in Russia and are in demand by students, and can now be implemented in Kyrgyzstan.
A separate block of negotiations was the participation of partner companies in the KRSU endowment fund, support for personalized scholarships, as well as employment and internship opportunities for students. Universities also discussed the development of joint startup projects, practice-oriented programs and an action plan for 2025–2026.
In conclusion, the parties noted the importance of systemic partnership and agreed to prepare a memorandum of cooperation that would consolidate all the agreements reached.
