KRSU begins the implementation of a unique inclusive education project in Central Asia

The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) announced the start of an exclusive inclusive education project in Central Asia, aimed at providing people with disabilities with the opportunity to receive a quality education on equal terms. The project will provide online courses for teachers to prepare them to work with students with special educational needs on the basis of KRSU.

The project will be implemented in partnership with the Russian State University of Social Technologies (RSU SotsTech), the largest university in Russia, where hundreds of students with disabilities study. This summer, KRSU and RSU SOTSTech signed a cooperation agreement, which became the basis for the launch of this project.

One of the key initiatives of the project will be the creation of resource educational and methodological centers (RUMC) for training people with disabilities and persons with disabilities in the higher education system. This network, which brings together more than 650 partner universities, will provide comprehensive support for people with disabilities at all stages – from vocational guidance and training to employment, taking into account their individual needs.
