KRSU renews the infrastructure: security, modern spaces and a comfortable educational environment
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University continues a large-scale modernization of the university infrastructure. The updates affect not only classrooms and public spaces, but also the security system, utility networks, sports facilities and digital infrastructure.
One notable change was the renovation of the main building's center entrance. There are new railings installed here that will make moving up the main staircase safer and more comfortable for students, teachers, staff and guests of the university, and will also give the entrance group a modern and neat look. Historically, this staircase was the main entrance to the university, and with the start of the new academic year it will again become the main access point in building.
From September 1, entry into all educational buildings of KRSU will be carried out using personal electronic cards through a turnstile system. This will ensure controlled access to buildings, eliminate the possibility of unauthorized entry and increase the efficiency of access control.
Each student and staff member will be issued an individual electronic pass integrated into the access control and management system. The system automatically records entry and exit times, providing transparent attendance records and an additional level of security.
At the same time, the university is undergoing a comprehensive modernization of its video surveillance system. In all buildings, the number of cameras is increasing, viewing areas are expanding and a unified monitoring system is being created. This will allow you to quickly respond to any emergency situations and increase the effectiveness of crime prevention.
Before the start of the new school year, all KRSU buildings will be equipped with modern fire alarm systems, video surveillance and access control. At the same time, the university entered into a contract for professional security of facilities and comprehensive cleaning services for buildings and surrounding areas.

At the same time, the modernization of KRSU is not limited only to the security system. Over the past two years, the university has been consistently updating its academic buildings and engineering infrastructure. In the main building, the halls, sanitary facilities, transition gallery, roof have already been overhauled, window structures and entrance fire doors have been replaced, and projects for updating the facade and classrooms have been developed. By the end of the year, it is planned to further repair the classroom stock, create a modern cyber club, install architectural lighting of the facade and partially modernize the heating system.
Large-scale work is also underway at other university sites. The buildings are being updated with utility networks, sports grounds, sanitary facilities and classrooms. At the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction, major renovations of floors continue, projects for the construction of new laboratory and educational buildings are being developed, and the territory is being improved. Sports facilities and engineering infrastructure are being modernized in the buildings of the natural, technical and economic study programs, and the first university self-recording studio in Kyrgyzstan has been created in the humanitarian building for the preparation of digital educational content.
