KRSU participated in an international conference on the development of medical practices

Representatives of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took part in the International Online Conference «International interaction in organizing educational medical production practices: opportunities and prospects».The event took place at the Izhevsk State Medical University of the Russian Ministry of Health.The conference was held as part of the implementation of cooperation agreements between medical universities in the CIS countries and was devoted to the development of academic mobility and improvement of the system of practical training of medical students.Representatives of 19 universities from six countries — Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia took part in the discussion. Kyrgyzstan was represented at the event by the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaeva and the International School of Medicine of the International University of Kyrgyzstan.The conference participants discussed the organization of international educational and industrial practices for medical students. The focus was on areas of training, internship periods, clinical bases for internships, quotas for participants, admission conditions, financial mechanisms for participation, as well as formats for bilateral and multilateral cooperation between universities.As part of the event, a new cooperation agreement was also signed between the Izhevsk State Medical University and the Khatlon State Medical University of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the extension of the partnership agreement with the Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.The conference was the next step in strengthening international interaction between medical universities in the CIS countries and expanding opportunities for academic mobility of students and teachers.
