KRSU strengthens scientific ties with Russian universities
On September 15, acting, Rector D. Fomin-Nilov, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine R. Karaeva and Head of the Department of Epidemiology and Immunology B. Orozbekova held a meeting with the director St. Petersburg Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after. Pasteur, Head of the Department of Immunology PSPbSMU named after. AND. Pavlova, professorrum, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences A. Totolyan and Professor of the Department of Dermatovenereology, Allergology with a course in immunology at RUDN University R. Khanferyan.
The parties agreed to continue joint research work within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between St. Petersburg Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Pasteur and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
The main topics of conversation were the protection of applicants for candidate and doctoral dissertations engaged in clinical immunology, immunodiagnostics, etc immunotherapy a wide range of diseases (allergic, autoimmune, oncological and infectious); cooperation of possible options for the development of global healthcare systems after the end of the pandemic, features of vaccination in a pandemic and other issues of organizing healthcare systems and preventing the spread of various infections in the context of controlled and unmanaged vaccines; coordination with Rosobrnadzor of the admission plan on a grant basis St. Petersburg Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Pasteur in the context of specialties and study programs training for residents and graduate students; carrying out scientific work to study the nutrition of modern students (using the example of KRSU students).
The meeting participants agreed to develop a work program for the exchange of work experience between KRSU employees and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. «The exchange of best practices, innovative forms and methods of working with students are a necessary condition for improving the quality of education», – noted Doctor of Medical Sciences R. Khanferyan.
