KRSU in the project of the Association of Technical Universities «Memory of the Great Victory»
KRSU took part in the preparation of an interuniversity collection of articles «Memory of the Great Victory». The collection, published in two parts, was prepared and published by the Association of Technical Universities and the Moscow State Technical University named after N. E. Bauman (national research university). It included articles by scientists from 70 universities in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia. The new publication, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, reflects the contribution of technical universities of the – members of the Commonwealth of Independent States and their students, teachers and staff to the defeat of fascism.
The creators of the scientific work noted that «the activity of the universities of the Association of Technical Universities in the formation of the Collection is confirmation that the Great Victory unites and will continue to unite and unite the states and peoples of the CIS, because this is – our common history, the memory of military brotherhood, unparalleled courage and heroism of soldiers of all nationalities who, sparing no effort and life itself, fought for the freedom and independence of their Motherland».
KRSU is presented in the Collection with an article by Vice-Rector for Information and Public Relations Leonid Sumarokov «Victory parades of envoys of Russian science in Kyrgyzstan». The publication talks about front-line scientists G.A. Sukhomlinov and O.D. Alimov, who made a huge contribution to the training of national engineering and technical personnel of Kyrgyzstan and the development of Kyrgyz science, while demonstrating the best quality of the generation of winners – desire to win.

The collection includes articles and materials dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945, reflecting the contribution of technical universities of the states – members of the Commonwealth of Independent States to the Great Victory, the participation of students, teachers and university staff in it. The collection is confirmation that the Great Victory unites and will continue to unite and unite the states and peoples of the CIS, because this is – our common history, the memory of military brotherhood, unparalleled courage and heroism of soldiers of all nationalities who, sparing no effort and life itself, fought for the freedom and independence of their Motherland. Home front workers, thousands of plants and factories, collective and state farms, higher educational institutions and their graduates, professors, teachers, staff, students and graduate students also made their invaluable contribution to achieving Victory over fascism. The feat of arms of the soldiers of the Fatherland and home front workers will remain one of the main examples in instilling a sense of patriotism, strong friendship of peoples – heirs of the Great Victory.
