Cultural sympathy: youth in the digital world

On June 13, KRSU was visited by a Russian delegation of scientists consisting of Doctor of Political Sciences, Head of the Department of the Near and Post-Soviet East of INION RAS, Associate Professor of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry Vladimir Avatkov, Director of the Institute of Strategic Studies and Forecasts of RUDN University Dmitry Egorchenkov and researcher of the Department of the Near and Post-Soviet East of INION RAS Alina Sbitneva.

The guests were met by employees of KRSU – Rector, Academician Vladimir Nifadiev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Salavat Usmanov, Vice-Rector for Information and Public Relations, Candidate of Historical Sciences Leonid Sumarokov, Head of the UMS Yulia Kalyuzhnaya, Director of the Institute of Strategic Analysis and Forecast, Candidate of Historical Sciences Aman Saliev.

The Institute of Strategic Studies and Forecasts of RUDN University, together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, is implementing the project «Cultural Sympathy: Youth in the Digital World». It is designed to develop mutually beneficial humanitarian communication and academic dialogue with representatives of the intellectual elites of the countries of the former USSR, encouraging the preservation of cultural heritage and the commonality of the historical path.

As part of the project, Russian scientists conducted lectures and discussions «Cultural sympathy: youth in the digital world» and «Foreign policy course of the Republic of Turkey at the present stage» for international studies students and teaching staff of KRSU.
