Lecture by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Sh. Meredov

On March 26, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Shadurdy Meredov visited the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The distinguished guest met with the Vice-Rector for International Relations of KRSU, Professor Leila Sydykova and the Head of the International Relations Department Yulia Kalyuzhnaya.

Then, in the conference hall of the main building of KRSU, Sh. Meredov gave a lecture for students of the Faculty of International Relations of KRSU on the topic: «2021 – International Year of Peace and Trust».

At a meeting with students, Mr. Sh. Meredov spoke about the prospects for cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan. Issues of peace and trust between countries are becoming especially relevant in such a difficult period that all of humanity is currently experiencing.

The lecture was organized by the KRSU UMS and the FMO Department of International Relations.

Resolution «2021 –International Year of Peace and Trust» was initiated by the President of Turkmenistan at the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly and supported by the majority of UN members.
