Master class at KRSU: modern approaches to working with people with disabilities

As part of the visit to Kyrgyzstan of the delegation of the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation, a master class was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University on modern methods of working with people with disabilities. The event was attended by outstanding specialists in this field, among whom were the director of the Multicenter for Social and Labor Integration Irina Drozdenko, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Chui Region Gulmira Kyshtobaeva, as well as representatives of social services and experts on inclusive education.

In her welcoming speech, Gulmira Kyshtobaeva emphasized the importance of cooperation in solving problems faced by people with disabilities in the Chui region. She noted that more than 20 thousand people with disabilities live in this region, including about 6 thousand children under 18 years of age. It is important to provide them with the necessary support and assistance to fully participate in public life.

Irina Drozdenko shared her experience of the successful work of the Multicenter in the Leningrad region and St. Petersburg. She noted that thanks to the efforts and energy of the professional community, it was possible to successfully employ about 600 graduates. The main task is to create conditions for the integration of people with disabilities into society and ensure their access to vocational education.
