Youth and the challenges of our time
On April 13, 2021, the International Research Conference «State Youth Policy: Challenges and Modern Technologies for Working with Youth» opened online at the Ural Federal University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B. Yeltsin.
The event was held with the organizational and informational support of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B. Yeltsin, as well as the «Regional Center for Patriotic Education» of the Sverdlovsk Region.
Four discussion platforms were actively working within the framework of the conference, at one of which representatives of the teams of the X All-Russian Festival of Students in the Field of Training «Organization of Work with Youth», scheduled from April 25 to 29, 2021 at UrFU (Ekaterinburg), made scientific presentations.
Vice-Rector for Science of KRSU, Professor Valery Lelevkin addressed the forum participants with a welcoming speech.
Applications were submitted from KRSU to participate in the conference: 10 scientific articles and 8 reports from undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students of the faculties of law and humanities, as well as the Faculty of International Relations.
At the discussion platform «Techniques and technologies in working with youth in modern conditions», the head of the department «Youth Scientific Policy, Scientific-Innovative and International Research» of the UION Denis Brusilovsky acted as an expert from our university.
In the section «Prevention of destructive and extremist manifestations among young people», the head of the Department of Innovation in Education and Science, Professor Natalya Malyukova, acted as an expert from KRSU.
In total, over 250 listeners and speakers from Almaty, Bishkek, Kirov, Yekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Kemerovo, Kurgan, Nizhnevartovsk, Novosibirsk, Orel, Rostov-on-Don, Saratov, Surgut, Tver, Chita, Yakutsk and Yaroslavl took part in the conference.
At the conference, special mention was made of the reports of KRSU law student Leila Azimkanova «Features of the fight against extremism among young people with the development of modern information technologies» and doctoral student of the KRSU humanities faculty Nazgul Akmatova («On the modern environmental paradigm»).
