The youth of Central Asia will discuss security challenges

The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University will host an International Youth Conference «Central Asia: preventing the spread of dangerous destructive ideologies among young people: challenges and responsibilities». The event is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and will take place on April 24, 2026.The initiator is the Institute for the Prevention of Destructiveness and Extremism among Youth KRSU. The conference will be organized jointly with the Academy of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic named after Lieutenant General A.K. Bakaev and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic named after Major General E.A. Aliyeva.The forum will be held in a hybrid format and will bring together participants both in person and online.The event will take place from 10:00 to 13:00 at the address: Bishkek, Kyiv st., 44, main building KRSU, auditorium 212 and coworking space.The participation of students, teachers, experts and representatives of relevant departments is expected. The discussion centers on — issues of countering the spread of extremism, terrorism and corrupt practices among young people, as well as the formation of effective mechanisms for the prevention of destructive ideologies.The conference is aimed at developing scientific dialogue, strengthening interdepartmental interaction and involving young people in discussing current security challenges in the Central Asian region.
