Central Asian youth are invited to participate in a regional hackathon on «green» technologies

The initiators of the project are the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after. AND. Razzakova together with the International Telecommunication Union, as well as the regional project GIZ «Green Skills for a Green Economy in Central Asia».The hackathon will unite young teams from Central Asian countries — Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Participants will have to develop innovative digital solutions in the field of renewable energy, rational water use, circular economy and environmental monitoring.The program includes several stages: online training (March –April 2026), national qualifying rounds (April –June), as well as an in-person regional final, which will be held from June 25 to 27, 2026 on Lake Issyk-Kul.Youth teams aged 18 to 30 are invited to participate. Participation is free.The project is aimed at developing the technological competencies of young people and finding practical solutions to current environmental problems in the region.
