Scientific and practical conference «Immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases»
On June 6, a scientific and practical conference «Immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases» was held in the assembly hall of the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital (RCIB), organized by the Department of Infectious Diseases named after Professor A. Romanenko (KRSU).
The conference was attended by students of the 1st stream of the 5th year in the specialty «General Medicine» (speakers), as well as 6th year PD students, infectious disease residents, graduate students of the department of infectious diseases and teachers.
Students prepared 13 reports in the form of presentations, videos, infographics, and skits. Songs and poems were sung on vaccination against manageable infectious diseases in children and adults.
All reports emphasized that the modern immunoprophylaxis system is a decisive factor in reducing child mortality, increasing the duration and improving the quality of life of all age groups of the population.
Vaccination is the most widespread form of medical intervention and affects almost every person on earth. Among those present, two quizzes were held on knowledge of infectious diseases in the form of a blitz survey and recognition of the disease from pictures «Four photos – one word».
At the end of the conference, the speakers were awarded diplomas, as well as certificates in the following categories: «Master of Oratory», «For Visibility», «For Creativity», «For Informativeness», «For Scientific Approach».
The jury was young scientists from KRSU – Vania Hangkessa, 6th PD student Yulia Rulevskaya, residents – Nurima Orunalieva, Timur Yunusov, as well as associate professors of the department – N. Aitkuluev, D. Kuvatova and head. department infectious diseases E. Radchenko.
