KRSU residents won silver at the Olympiad «Into the Future with Burning Hearts»
On May 11, within the walls of the NCTC, an Olympiad «Into the Future with Burning Hearts» on the topic «Arterial Hypertension» was held between residents of KRSU named after. B. Yeltsin and three departments of KSMA named after. AND. Akhunbaeva, organized by the Department of Faculty Therapy of KSMA named after. AND. Akhunbaeva.
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was represented by the Department of Therapy №2 specialties «General Medicine» represented by the team «CardioBeat», which included: Beksultan Ibadulaev – team captain, 2nd year resident, Medina Sovetbekova – 2nd year resident, Kalamzar Mamedova – 2nd year resident, Nargiza Chubasheva – 2nd year resident, Bogdan Averin – 1st year resident, Daler Myrzaev – 1st year resident.
The additional team consisted of Ismar Khurov, Darina Gusarova, Medina Torobaeva, Akbar Tashtanbekov. From the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, 3 teams from three different departments participated: the department of faculty therapy was represented by the team «Riva Rocci», Department of Cardiac Surgery – team «Cordias», and the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine with a course in endocrinology – team «Arterial Heroes».
The judging of the Olympiad was entrusted to experienced scientists and clinicians: Deputy Director of the NCTC named after. M. Mirrakhimov for Science Asel Budaichieva, doctor of the State Institution «Clinical Hospital of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic» Elena Lukina, chief physician of the MC «Cardiac Center» Guzyalie Osmankulova and deputy director for the medical part of the MC «Vedanta» Mahabat Dzhetybaeva.
The Olympics consisted of 4 competitions. In the first («Greetings»), the teams presented self-prepared videos. Not only the teams, but also the spectators who came to support them were able to take part in the second competition called «Rebuses». So, while the teams were solving puzzles, the presenter raffled off prizes among the audience for correct answers, where 6th year students of KRSU especially distinguished themselves. The third competition consisted of situational tasks, based on the results of which all residents demonstrated a high level of clinical thinking. The Olympics ended with a competition «Blitz».
Based on the results of 4 competitions of the Olympiad, residents of the Department of Therapy №2 specialties «General Medicine» KRSU took second place, with a slight lag behind the winners of the Olympiad – team of the Department of Faculty Therapy of KSMA «Riva Rocci». The jury members highly appreciated the level of training of residents, wishing for further improvement of knowledge and clinical skills.
Separately, it is necessary to note the contribution of the head of our team, Associate Professor Zulfiya Radzhapova, who is undoubtedly the best at lighting a fire in the eyes of the younger generation of doctors. All their leaders came to support the residents – teaching staff of the Department of Therapy №2 specialties «General Medicine», as well as 6th year students.
The decoration of the Olympiad was our talented 6th year students Luiza Murzakhalova, who is the author of poems in the competition «Greeting», as well as Aiperi Arinova and Omurbek Akmatbekov, who performed songs by domestic composers for all.
